After running two successful tours to Egypt in 2018 and 2019, I found my time taken up with working as a volunteer board member of the non-profit Vermilion Heritage Foundation that owns the historic Fischer Theatre in Danville, IL. The Theatre began its life as a Grand Opera House in 1884. After falling into disrepair and languishing for 30 years, it was recently fully renovated (2018-2019) and is now an integral part of Danville’s vibrant performing arts community - a community which in the past has produced stars such as Dick and Jerry Van Dyke, Gene Hackman (who worked at the Fischer as a young man) Donald O’Connor and others.The restoration of the theatre had recently been funded by Julius W. Hegeler III, a local businessman and philanthropist. Returning from my Egypt tour in March of 2019, I found myself involved in preparing the theatre for a Grand Opening on September 21, 2019. However, because organizing a tour can be time consuming and sometimes stressful, I decided against agreeing to do another tour in 2020, but thought I could handle participating in a tour with someone who would share the workload.

I met Anyextee at the CPAK Conference in Newport Beach, California and was extremely impressed with his presentation, but more than that, his raw honesty and spirit. We discussed the idea of combining forces and collaborating on a tour in September 2020 and it became clear that we could give travellers a broad experience and fun time. We both agreed that the guests come first and their enjoyment would be both our first priorities.
